General Information is entered for the Cemetery and Funeral home, with special screens for the funeral home to enter First Call data, track Death Certificate statistics, and enter the Obituary. General Information such as Sales, Biographical data, family members, note, Services, and Veteran information is the same whether you are a Cemetery or Funeral Home.
The first step to processing a case is the Funeral First Call. Click the "Start" button to automatically load the date, time, first call number, and person logged into Sterling. All the information your First Call desk can gather will be accessible by other departments. This completely eliminates duplication of data gathering. The integration of information also eliminates the annoying duplication of questions from the family.
Statistics and DC information can be entered by the First Call desk if the information is available. Statistics information is designed specifically for printing on State and Federal Forms. Whatever information is not known at the the time of the First Call can be entered later. Some of the information might need to be typed in by the Physician after printing by the Funeral Home.
Embalming Data Entry gives you an easy way to track your embalming processes. Embalming Fluids entry to track your fluid use and for reporting. Enter obituary information in a word processing format. Sterling calculates the cost estimate based on the standards for that publication company. |
